If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask; this guide is here to help, and I am as well.

For all those out there who don't have fancy Photoshop or editing programs, this is your guide. I invented it myself, and I've been generating pretty good characters with Paint alone.

Step 1: Getting Started
The first thing you need to do is pick a character; I went with Luppi for this tutorial.

Step 2: Gathering Images
Go to the site indicated at the top or use your own site. When the frame comes up with the image you want, press the Print Screen button (located at the top-right of a keyboard, next to Scroll Lock.)

Go into Paint, and crop your picture down to a PERFECT SQUARE (otherwise the image will look squashed later on.) You should have something along the lines of this:
SkillPicture.png
Make sure to save it as a .PNG, not a .JPG, because it is much better quality.

That's way too big, so now go to ResizePic.com. Set the height and width to 75x75. Now you'll have something like this:
Resizepic.png

Save the new image. Then repeat for the rest of the pictures.

Step 3: Making the Player Card
So now you have a bunch of little 75x75 pictures; time to assemble them. This is the basic template to use:
TemplateFinal.png

After bringing in your pictures and making the names, it should look like this:
LuppiPlayerCardOutline.png

Now you add descriptions of the moves, as well as the damage, cooldowns, and reiatsu required. Should be something like this:
LuppiPlayerCard.png
NOTE: When putting in text, make sure you use the bottom option, so that the gray background stays: it looks nicer than random white-on-gray boxes.

NOTE: When putting in text, you should try to retain the box shape; compare the one on the left to the one on the right:

Congrats! You're over the hardest part! If you are having trouble with balancing, check out the Characters and Skills section or other users' collections.

Step 5: Finishing Up
So your player card is almost finished. Now this step is optional, because not everyone needs it. Usually your images are a little foggy and faded, and it feels not perfect. This is how you fix it: go to LunaPic.com/Editor. NOTE: BE SURE TO SET THE CANVAS SIZE TO 600x600. Once you have uploaded the picture, go to Adjust and choose "Increase Contrast."

Then copy, paste, and re-save. Your finished product should look like this:

Step 6: Uploading the Image
Now to get it onto the web. My personal favorite site is Photobucket; it's free and easy. Sign up for an account, then upload your picture. Tinypic works too, and follow the exact same steps. Copy its Direct Link, then come here and paste it! Now your art is for everyone to enjoy!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask; this guide is here to help, and I am as well.

You'd want to take Resizepic.com out of your tutorial completely.

Seriously, that reduces quality a lot. Same with uploading vids to youtube. Same concept..

1. Resizepic does not reduce quality; I have used it for years and it is incredibly trustworthy.

2. I never said to use videos from youtube, so I would appreciate you reading my guide thoroughly before you make misguided criticisms.
